I know that everyone is scared about the disappearances. Or at least, I know that I am. Anyway, I think I know how to help out.
There isn't much students can do to help find the others, but we CAN help out the staff members who ARE GOING TO FIND THEM by doing things to support them. This is a call to arms. How can YOU help? Here's how:
-Adopt an over-stressed staff member and make sure that they're eating, sleeping, and not working themselves ragged. Bringing food and coffee to them is a good idea and quietly suggesting a nap when it looks like collapse is immenent is a good idea.
-Help out your fellow students by being there for them. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm having nightmares and I don't want to be alone at night. Comforting helps. Older students especially should try to look after younger students.
-Try to be self-sufficient and not get in any of the staff members way. They're trying to protect us and to find our friends, so it would be best if we didn't burden them more, I think.
I don't know. I mean, I THINK that this is a good idea, but I may be wrong. I mean, it couldn't hurt, right? What do you think? Should I organize this, or should I just shut up and leave it alone? Help!
