As of now, I think we - some more than others, but all of us - should maybe be trying to make things a bit easier on Mr. Summers and the rest of the faculty, as far as there's anything any of us can do that way.
For starters, I'd like to ask for no more calling him Captain Fuckwad, however much you think it fits, and yes I am looking at you, Sarah. When's the last time any of you remember him really kicking back and taking actual time off? He works damn hard doing what he does here, and I for one am gonna make sure he knows we appreciate it, when I talk to him next.
Second - please try not to snark at the teachers/other adults without really good cause. Jubilee, there's no point you getting into it with Mr. Marko on the journals, because you're never gonna win that one. If they make a decision, it's almost sure to be for a good reason, and talking back at them about it isn't going to change their minds.
No more (non-accidental) property damage might be a good idea, too. ;)
Jay, things like Mr. Summers' post do not count as good cause, especially when you've been here barely two weeks. Do you really think that's enough time to get to know what people are really like - not to mention how things have been around here before you arrived?
And yes, I do know I've done some of the things I'm asking (not telling) you not to, before. I'm going to be trying as much as any of you not to do it again.
You can go ahead and ignore me if you want. I just think it might be a good way to pay them all back some for what they do here. Almost every one of us here personally owes them something, after all.
Okay. For those of you who don't know, Sarah and Shinobi are in Boston at the moment, and Sarah's told me they'd like to see anyone who wants to see them.
I've asked the faculty for permission for a trip next weekend, and Mr. Wisdom says if someone else will cover the New York run, he'll take any of us who want to go to Boston - even if it's not to see Sarah or Shinobi in particular, it could be a fun trip.
