I am not going to comment to the previous post in this community. This is after all, first and foremost, your forum in which to interact, vent, and all that entails. It is also why I tend to not comment here all that much, in case anyone wondered.

Nor, since some have apparently worried about this, do I run to anyone with what is written here, to babble away what I do read here.

I would like to remind you of the following, however.

1) The younger students still have access to this community. As such, swearing and all that jazz is still viewable by them here as well. Do remember that. We ask that you keep a fairly civil language in your regular journals for that reason - it extends to this community as well. Clarice, I do apologize if I hadn't thought to let you know of this when you arrived, by the way. My bad. So please keep this in mind in future postings, all of you. It would be greatly appreciated.

2) Witch hunts are an unpleasant thing. We of all people know how that feels. Perhaps we might consider our actions and words carefully, before starting out on one ourselves. Food for thought. Give it a try. Personally, I'm not very fond of the burning at the stake principle. Been there, got toasted some. Not much with the fun.

3) And this one is strictly personal on my part. There is no us vs. you, between the teaching staff and students. It would be nice if the lot of you (and I'm keeping this general, because really, I don't feel like pointing fingers here and being juvenile) could try to keep that in mind. We're here to help you with your powers, and teach you your mundane, boring, regular classes just like a lot of other kids get to learn. Because there is life after the mansion, after all.

4) The quality inherent to Freedom of Speech, is that it must be applied to all.

Now. Regarding Mr Marko's post - the Professor is aware of happenings and will be addressing the issue shortly, as it should be dealt with.

Yep, the new "Student Counselor" office with the fancy little name plate is all mine.

Of course, it's about more than just an office. As the office doesn't mean much of anything really, though, other than a neat place for me to drag you to kicking and screaming now and then (or not for some of you) for whatever reason I can dream up. I may need to get those walls lined with titanium or something, I suspect. The windows are already shatter proof if anyone was wondering. ;)

Ahem.

If you ever need to talk, be it from anything ranging from your powers to the fate of the universe, and anything in between (yes, including teenage hormones and what have you), don't hesitate to let me know.

I will be making appointments with you lot over the next few weeks, just to get things in order, but hey, prey volunteers are always welcome.

I've a few things in mind already, which I'll list below. Please, if there's anything you'd like to see happen beyond what's listed, feel free to comment. Keep in mind, I'll feel free to answer, too. ;)

Things to discuss/implement:
~ training/study groups for the less easy to pigeonhole powers with the idea of helping students look into what exactly they can do, think they can do, or want to push regarding their abilities, I'm thinking groups of students here, because sometimes it takes someone knowing nothing about your powers to turn up that one good suggestion you'd never thought of.
~ suggestions for future classes for the coming terms
~ trips outside the school grounds for students (now's the time to put in your two cents!) in town, further off, anything really. We'll see about how feasible it is later on, for now go wild with the suggestions.

I'll be looking into ordering a few musical instruments during the week for when I start the music classes. Likely a few guitars (including one black electric Fender, yes) and a piano. If anyone out there would like to have a go at something else (provided I can help with it - keyboards and guitars tend to be what I'm best with though), just let me know and I'll see what can be arranged.

Both classical and not so classical is being anticipated, in terms of musical selection - but here again, if you'd like to look at some pieces in particular, let me know as soon as you can...
